Stefan Danis, Mandrake and NEXCareer CEO, participated in the Gobi March in June 2009, a six-day, 250km foot race, which Time Magazine ranks as the second toughest endurance competition in the world, in an effort to raise $25,000 for The National Advertising Benevolent Society (NABS) . Danis, who was first in his age group and first Canadian to cross the Gobi finish line, finishing 14th overall, exceeded his goal by $16,000, in raising more than $41,000.

Now he has decided to increase his overall fundraising target to $65,000 by raising a minimum of $25,000 through a second race, this time in the Atacama Desert in Chile from March 7-11, 2010.
