TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 30, 2012) - Oakville Chartered Accounting student Alexandra Slattery (BCom’09) was one of just 27 Ontario students to make the prestigious Honour Roll for top marks on this year's Canada-wide Uniform Evaluation (UFE).
… Ms. Slattery has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and articles at KPMG LLP in Toronto. On why she chose the profession, she said: "I was actually in the finance program at McGill and I started working when I graduated but I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do long term. I had a few friends who were working for accounting firms doing their CA and it seemed like a great training program and I felt that it would open a lot of doors for me."
