Four students from the Desautels Faculty of Management were recent recipients of a Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) 2012 Excellence Award, an annual program that showcases innovators, leaders, service professionals and emerging stars.
Melanie Walsh, MBA'12, Nisha Shankar, MBA'12, Jun Yeo, MBA'12, and MBA student Thomas Weber won the Student Leadership in Internationalization Award, given to recognize outstanding student contributions to internationalization. The quartet led the charity component of the Hot Cities of the World Tour, a course offered through the Desautels Faculty of Management that uses experiential learning to teach students about national competitiveness.
