McGill BCom team places third at National Case Competition

Published: 5 February 2007

McGill BCom students took third place at the Undergraduate National Case Competition (UNCC) held at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. The competition was held from February 1 to 4, 2007, and 12 universities (10 from Canada and two from the USA) competed. After the opening ceremonies and a night of fun, games and networking the teams had to crack two cases (Lululemon on Friday and AskMen.com on Saturday) in only three hours.

The team, composed of Emily Fowler, Viet Le Quoc, Jean-Michel Marcotte and Navpreet Saini, performed extremely well on both days, which allowed them to take the third place trophy. The team members were all selected from Richard Donovan's "Case Analysis & Presentation" class, and Prof. Donovan was also their coach and advisor.
