Abstract:

The article explores the collaboration between different health care practitioners in improving pharmacy operations. As technology is expected to be a significant contributor for operational improvement, Kuiper and colleagues presented the best argument for its use in reducing medication errors in an inpatient pharmacy setting. One of the problem areas identified by the healthcare workers is the lag between the preparation and administration of medication.
