It's Not About More or Less Regulation - A Message for Obama and Romney

The world has gone mad about regulation and the debate seems to be along one dimension: more of it, or less. In the face of oil company disasters and bankimg manipulation, the cry goes out for more regulation. In the face of stagnant economies and huge public debt, the cry is for less red tape. Those who distrust huge companies-and point to good reasons why-demand more regulation. Those who distrust big government-again with good reason -want less.
