Follow the 5 Hot Cities Tour Fundraising Campaign!
Follow along with students via the 5 Hot Cities Tour blog. In a student-led initiative, the Desautels Faculty of Management has partnered with the KC Mahindra Foundation's Nanhi Kali to raise $5,000 in 10 days, matched dollar-for-dollar by a list of generous corporate sponsors, in the hopes that they can present the Nanhi Kali Foundation with a final pooled sum of $10,000. All proceeds will go to help empower female children through the sponsorship of their education. This project challenges students to raise money to sponsor the education of underprivileged young girls in India using social media tools and their own experiences while travelling, to spread their positive message using mediums such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Blogs.
