DESAUTELS PROF. LAURETTE DUBÉ APPOINTED TO THE STRATEGIC ADVISORY COUNCIL FOR HEALTH CHECK PROGRAM

Published: 23 February 2009

Health Check, the food information program of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC) is celebrating 10 years of helping Canadians make healthy food choices. In conjunction with this milestone date marking the past 10 years of momentous growth, a Strategic Advisory Council has been formed to guide Health Check into the future.

“The Strategic Advisory Council will provide expert counsel and strategic advice to ensure the overall integrity of the program and help guide its direction and growth. This new Council will complement the tremendous work of the existing Technical Advisory Committee, which is made up of registered dietitians and nutrition experts who develop Health Check’s nutrient criteria,” says Sally Brown, CEO of the HSFC.
