Thinking about Grad School? is a series of info sessions to help you decide if grad school is for you, to teach you the basics of the application process, and to provide you insight into the life of being a grad student.

Thinking about Grad School?: Is it right for you

  • Oct. 8, 12:00 - 1:00: Brown 5001
    • This session will give you a comprehensive look at what to take into account before applying to grad school. It will include topics such as: cost of graduate studies; how to choose the right school and program; the differences between thesis and non-thesis programs; and how to choose between grad school and working after graduation.

    • This session includes a presentation and student testimonials.

 


Thinking about Grad School?: Making an Application

  • Oct. 9, 12:00 - 1:00:Bronw 5001
    • This session will give you tips and strategies to help you put your application together. Some topics will include: the prerequisites of getting in; what the typical application procedures are; how to ask for reference letters; and how to find a supervisor.
