Desautels Management Leadership Seminar DMLS supported by TD Bank Financial Group

DMLS – the Desautels Management Leadership Seminar – is an annual two-day event exclusive to first year students. Held every March, this event seeks to develop the leadership skills of McGill's future business leaders.

The first day consists of a series of guest speakers from several different fields. This is an invaluable opportunity to learn about leadership firsthand and to network with industry representatives. On the second day, we host a dynamic case competition. Teams are split up into groups of 4 to 5 and given a case to "crack". Teams then present their respective solutions to a panel of judges from sponsoring companies. It is an excellent opportunity for first-year students to practice their critical thinking and presentation skills, and to network with peers and representatives from the corporate world.
