Desautels Business Conference on Sustainability 2015

Saturday, March 28, 2015toSunday, March 29, 2015

Established in 2003, the Desautels Business Conference on Sustainability (DBCS) is a fully student- initiated and student-run annual conference borne through business students answering the increasingly pressing call for action in the environmental and social spheres of our business world. The event is supported by the generosity of The Hantho Fund for Sustainability and Environmental Management as well as the Management Undergraduate Society of the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.

This Year's Theme: Integration

This year, DBCS is proud to invite our delegates to explore the theme of integration throughout the conference through a series of eight interactive and engaging panels and workshops. Join us this March to experience a diverse porfolio of speakers from varying professional backgrounds each with one question in mind: how can sustainability be most effectively incorporated into our everyday business actions? More broadly, this year's conference will seek to explore issues of promoting productive multi-stakeholder discussions, identifying alternative measures of success, and characterizing the role that for-profit companies should play in sustainable development. The need for better integration of sustainable thought is a recurring issue in today's business world, and the need for these discussions is more pressing than ever.
