355 rue Peel
Price:
Free but RSVP is required

Join McGill’s Social Economy Initiative and Social Innovators’ Integration Lab (SIIL) as they celebrate the 4th cohort of the SEI Impact Internship Program. This unique internship program pairs McGill's top undergraduate students with social-purpose organizations over the spring and summer months. Student interns leverage their management skills to contribute to social impact and positive social change, while also generating valuable research data for the SIIL atlas -  an interactive map geographically displaying qualitative and quantitative information on social economy, social entrepreneurship, and social innovation initiatives.

To date, the program has supported 46 internships with 27 different organizations, many of which are based in Montreal’s Quartier de l’innovation district. Attendees will hear from past interns and supervisors about their experiences from the field as well as the latest news from the SIIL project. Current McGill students and representatives from social-purpose organizations are encouraged to attend to learn more about the upcoming 2017 program and ways to become involved.
