“In today’s trust-starved climate, our market-driven system is under attack ...large parts of the population feel that business has become detached from society, that business interests are no longer aligned with societal interests ...The only way to respond to this new wave of anti-business sentiment is for business to take the lead and to reposition itself clearly and convincingly as part of society.”

While pursuing their PhD studies, many students opt to take on a student loan. The following list of sources applies mostly to Canadian students and is by no means exhaustive.
Am I eligible for the PhD program?
If you hold an undergraduate and a Masters degree, with a strong academic record from recognized universities, you are eligible to apply for PhD studies.
The McGill PhD in Management aims to attract individuals who possess a strong academic background, personal initiative, and the potential to become excellent researchers. Applicants are assessed according to their past academic record, evaluations by former professors or supervisors, performance on standard graduate examinations, relevant work experience and the fit between their interests and the Faculty's focus and objectives.
The PhD Program in Management administers several doctoral level fellowships/awards. Candidates that have been accepted and have registered in the doctoral program are eligible to apply for them. These fellowships/awards are advertised in the Fall and Winter terms by the PhD Program Office. The value of these fellowships/awards vary from year to year.
Completed applications and all supporting documents are to be uploaded by no later than January 15th for Fall (September) admission of the same calendar year in which admission is sought. This deadline is for all applicants (Canada and International). There is no January (Winter) or June-July (Summer) admission.
It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that the application form and all supporting documents are uploaded by the application deadline.
Before entering the program, students must select an area of specialization from one of the following or from a combination thereof:
