The Social Economy Initiative (SEI)
The Social Economy Initiative (SEI) is an important vehicle through which the Desautels Faculty of Management integrates social entrepreneurship and social innovation more formally into its teaching, research and outreach activities.
Across the globe, social entrepreneurs are applying innovative approaches to addressing social problems that have not been satisfactorily addressed by the public or private sectors.
Research Centres and Programs
Over one third of the Faculty’s professors teach and conduct research from a social or environmental perspective. The following Desautels centres and programs support research and teaching initiatives which address issues related to corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, sustainability and/or non-profit management:
Beyond Business As Usual
