A Quick Glance at My MBA Internship

My name is Mo Sedki and I’m an MBA Management Consulting intern with Accenture, based in the Calgary office.

When I started the MBA program at McGill’s Desautels Faculty of Management, I knew that I wanted to kick off my career in Management Consulting. I, however, had never worked as a consultant and had no prior experience working for a global company. So, when I was offered the opportunity to join Accenture in Calgary for 12 weeks, I was more than stoked!

In March 2011, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) released The Evolving IP Marketplace: Aligning Patent Notice and Remedies with Competition, its antitrust policy review of the patent marketplace in which it unveiled the term “patent assertion entities” (PAEs) as a substitute for the derisive term “patent trolls.”

La catastrophe de Lac-Mégantic a ravivé les inquiétudes liées au projet canado-américain de transport d'uranium sous forme liquide. Devant les craintes soulevées, le gouvernement Harper réplique que l'entente vise à " réduire la menace que pose le terrorisme international". Mais il ne dit mot des conséquences possibles, un silence radioactif qui ne rassure pas les experts, étant donné les carences de Transports Canada en matière de transport des marchandises dangereuses.
