The Dobson Cup offers a rare opportunity for budding entrepreneurs. The competition is open to new business ideas and not-for-profit start-ups that are less than two years old. Participants will compete for prize money and prestige, as well as benefit from the rare opportunity to present their ideas to a panel of experienced entrepreneurs.

MUS Sustainability Network, Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business, and HEC Montreal have joined forces for their annual Business Beyond Tomorrow Conference. The mission of BBT is to increase the sustainability literacy of the student community and to highlight businesses that have been driven by sustainable practices. This year's theme is City-Wide Initiatives.
5 Days for the Homeless is an initiative that will be taking place at and around McGill from March 11th – 16th 2012. During the five day campaign, students from across the country will be making personal sacrifices to make their community a better place. Students will forgo their comforts and live outside on campus for five full days. Attend the opening ceremony on March 11th!
On Friday, March 11, students will have the opportunity to hear from a series of guest speakers from several different fields and learn about leadership while networking with industry representatives. On Saturday, March 12, a case competition will take place, where teams of 4-5 students are given 2 hours to prepare a solution to a predetermined case.

"Speed Networking" is an informal yet structured networking event designed to connect Boston area McGill graduates and students. The purpose of the evening is to facilitate meaningful conversations between all McGillians; specifically, to learn about possible career connections, uncover new business opportunities, and to meet other like-minded professionals.
Convocation is more than just a formal ceremony for the conferral of degrees, diplomas, and certificates, it is a time-honoured ceremony that celebrates individual student achievement.
