Professor Gagnon Ranks Second in Annual Grants Competition of the Fonds de recherche sur la société et la culture
Professor Suzanne Gagnon’s grant proposal entitled, “Revitalizing organizational diversity: Towards new knowledge of inclusive practices and why they work,” was ranked second of applications across all disciplines in the 2014 competition by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture, Établissement de nouveaux professeurs-chercheurs. The study, which received funding for three years, addresses several gaps in current research.
Usman W. Chohan (楚浩云) is an MBA candidate at Desautels with a Concentration in Strategy and Leadership. He is currently on an MBA exchange in Beijing, at a joint program between Tsinghua School of Economics (SEM) and MIT. The following piece is based on his work on Leadership Models for China and the Art of War, for the course Business Leadership in China at the Tsinghua SEM.

McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management has won the Research Excellence Award in the Primarily Doctoral/Medical University category at the 2014 Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) conference held in Muskoka, Ontario. This award reflects the highest contribution of research papers from PhD students and faculty of the Desautels Faculty of Management.
