Professor Liette Lapointe appointed Associate Editor of the Management Information Systems Quarterly Journal
Professor Lapointe has been appointed Associate Editor of the Management Information Systems Quarterly (MISQ) Journal. The MIS Quarterly is a peer reviewed scholarly journal published by the Management Information Systems Research Center, Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.
After winning the McGill Dobson Cup, World Wide Hearing received a $113,000 grant from Grand Challenges Canada to pilot its hearing aid delivery model, Hearing Express. In 2013-2014, the pilot project was run in Kraimeh, a rural community in Western Jordan, in collaboration with a new outreach centre for children with disabilities. Over the course of the project, Hearing Express female technicians visited Jordanian households and held hearing camps to provide affordable hearing aids to people who need them, validating the model.

This workshop is part of the design process for the agri-food module of the BRIDGE to Convergence of Health and Economics. It will focus specifically on fruits and vegetables, and their health (protection against micro-nutrient deficiency, obesity, diabetes and other chronic diseases) and wealth (economic contributions for farmers, agri-food actors and healthcare cost containment) consequences.
