Mentoring

McGill University Co-curricular Record (CCR) Badge

As a McGill student, your participation in this opportunity will be automatically recognized on your co-curricular record (CCR)! Having your co-curricular activities listed in one document can help you revise your CV or cover letter, prepare for interviews, and explore career options.

The BCom Mentoring Program connects undergraduate students in their U2 and U3 years at the Desautels Faculty of Management to Mentors in industry who are themselves McGill BCom Alumni of recent decades.

The Program provides students with a connection to the real world of Management to gain insight into their chosen field, to develop their professional skill set and networking abilities and to reach their career goals.

The Mentors possess significant experience in their fields and have successfully applied their academic knowledge in achieving their career goals. Mentors are located in Montreal and Toronto, among some of the other major Canadian cities, and areas of the United States and internationally such as Paris, Dubai, Kuwait, Singapore, Beijing, Pakistan, Brussels, Japan and Athens, among many others.  Students wishing to become Mentees can greatly benefit from this one-on-one interaction with a Mentor, primarily since the Mentor-Mentee match will be one that best suits the interests and needs of the individual student.
