Mr. Desnoyers, a McGill graduate (BCom ’85), joined Bank of Montreal in 2010 as Vice‐President, Personal & Commercial, leading the sales and service activities of BMO's personal banking branch network in the core market of Montreal. Prior to this Mr. Desnoyers was the Senior Vice‐President for TD Business Banking sales and service activities in the Province of Quebec and National Capital Region. In this role he was responsible for retaining, expanding and acquiring business relationships in each of the small, mid‐market and national accounts segments. Mr. Desnoyers had over 23 years’ experience with TD Bank Financial Group, including a variety of positions in Quebec in the area of personal and commercial banking, including Vice‐President and Regional Manager, Retail Branch Banking and Vice‐President and Manager, Commercial Banking. In addition, Mr. Desnoyers spent time in Toronto as the Vice‐President, Retail Sales and Service for TD Canada Trust, where he initiated a number of strategic improvements for their retail operations.
He has also attended a Strategic Thinking and Management program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. Mr. Desnoyers is a member of the board of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, 2010 and 2011 Co‐Chair of the Weekend to End Womens' Cancers, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital, and also a board member and honorary treasurer of the McGill Alumni Association.
