BCom Career Advisors
A team of four experienced career advisors who specialize in different areas of business relating to Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Consulting, IS, HR/OB, International careers. Keep in mind that students who haven't identified a career path can come to Career Services for general career guidance.
BCom Mentoring Program (U2 and U3 Students Only)
Get paired with a recent alumnus in your field of interest who will provide you with a unique perspective and trusted advice.
Peer Advisor Program
Dedicated to U0/U1 students Peer Advisors will help you with your very first resume review! Also, Career Services works with a group of Peer Ambassadors who help out at various events such as company information sessions, the Career Fair, and more. Onboarding (U0/U1 students)
The mandatory Onboarding process will help you establish the basis for your career preparation, and give you access to our specialized career advisors.
1. Attend Career Prep 101 Workshop –sign up via myFuture
2. Discover your tools for success: read the BCom Career Handbook on the BCom Career portal!
3. Meet your Peer Advisor to have your resume reviewed (signup sheet at Career Services)
4. Ask us about Career Leader — online business career self-assessment tool
Look for postings on myFuture and register for company events and information sessions on campus and externally. (September) Permanent recruitment in all areas for U3 students, Permanent & Summer recruitment in Accounting for U2/U3 students & (January) Summer recruitment in all areas except Accounting for U2 students.
Workshops and the Career Discovery Series
A mix of workshops and panels which will provide you with expert insight into many different fields such as such as Finance, Accounting, Consulting, Marketing, IS, OB/HR and more! As well, functional workshops from CV writing to networking to tapping into the hidden job market.
Career Fairs/Company Tours
Attend annual Career related events, including the Montreal Career Fair in September and company tours.

Graduating in December or May? Each year Career Services distributes an annual collection of resumes to all our employers. Inquire with your Career Advisor.
