Giving and Receiving with Christina Vroom / December 5th, 2013

"We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give."
― W. Churchill

As we usher in the Holiday season, it seems fitting to speak about giving and receiving. And what better opportunity than to have a chat with Christina Vroom, our Faculty’s new Associate Director of Development and Alumni Relations. But don’t be mislead – this is not an interview about donations.

With a warm personality and an infectious laughter, Christina is one passionate lady. I recently met with her to find out what she has learned about giving and receiving from all the incredible people she has the opportunity to meet and who, as she explains, inspire her greatly. As we all know, the acts of giving and receiving extend far beyond material possessions. They are actions that once initiated, have no end and can transform others’ lives in profound ways. Listen in to meet one of the newest members of our Faculty and join us as we reflect on the ways we all give and receive in our lives.
