The objectives
The CREATE program (Collaborative Research and Training Experience Program) in Healthcare Operations and Information Management (HOIM) is structured to drastically improve the collective capacity of the partner universities for training doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows, who will become significant contributors to healthcare research, practice and policy making. The objective is to increase Canada’s research and knowledge uptake capacity in the healthcare field. In the long term, the objective is to facilitate tangible improvements in the healthcare system across Canada via the contributions of the trainees of this program as future agents of change in academia, the health sector and government.
