Zelda joined the CRCF in 2011. She has a M.A. in French from the University of Western Ontario and has several years experience as a lecturer and as a legal assistant. Zelda is currently pursuing an MSW at McGill, specializing in the Children and Families stream. She is currently interning at Les Maisons transitionnelles (O3), a non-profit organisation working to support and provide disadvantaged young mothers and their children with the necessary tools to make a successful, productive and stable transition into the wider society. Zelda is interested in addressing issues of cyclical poverty particularly within the Black community, specifically from the perspective individual and societal psychological approaches and impacts of poverty in that demographic.
