Tony Esposito

Tony Esposito

Tonino Esposito is currently the coordinator of the Royal Bank Children Services Data Laboratory at McGill University’s Centre for Research on Children and Families. He is also coordinating the data extraction, analysis and dissemination of the Evidence-Based Management indicators and the Association Centre Jeunesse de Québec indicators. He has spent a number of years as a child welfare services worker and therapeutic social worker at the Shriners Hospital.

Tonino graduated with a Master of Social Work degree at McGill University in fall 2007 and is presently completing his PhD in social work. Tonino’s principal areas of research center largely on the impact of placement for maltreated children in out-of-home care. He is also interested in exploring evidence of service effectiveness in child welfare. He is author and co-author of several articles and reports highlighting the need for evidence to inform management decisions in child welfare.
