Catherine Roy

After finishing her Ph.D. in social work, Catherine Roy has worked as research coordinator for the Centre for Excellence on Child Welfare. She now pursues her career as an independent research consultant and has been involved on projects runned at CRCF since 2005. She has been involved in various research projects around areas of child welfare, including evidence-based and evaluative researches. Her research interests include adolescent mothers, parenting, child development and social networks of adolescent mothers. More recently, Catherine Roy has developed an increasing preoccupation for knowledge translation and popular dissemination of research results.
