Anne Blumenthal

Anne Blumenthal is an MSW student at McGill University. Her primary research interests are: child poverty, the well-being of disadvantaged or marginalized families, program evaluation, and participatory research. Currently, she is working numerous projects at the CRCF centred around vulnerable and disadvantaged youth and their families. She also works as the webmaster for the Canadian Child Welfare Research Portal (www.cwrp.ca). Her Master’s thesis will focus on exploring asset poverty in Canada. Anne holds a BA in Sociology from The University of Oregon and a BSW from McGill University. Prior to coming back to pursue studies in social work, Anne worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and as an intake coordinator at a Batterer Intervention Program.
