Fees for Certificate of Proficiency Programs – Language and Culture

Below are the fee schedules for the Certificate of Proficiency programs.

  • All fees are payable in Canadian dollars (CAD)
  • Application fees are non-refundable
  • All fees are subject to change without prior notice

 

Tuition Fees for Certificate of Proficiency in English – Language and Culture


Canadian Citizens/Permanent Residents

  1. Application Fee: $84.14 CAD (non-refundable)
  2. Tuition Fees: $1,785 CAD (per six week session/level)
  3. Career Advising and Transition Services fee: $15 CAD (per semester)

    Note: Late Registration Fee: Returning students must register no later than the Thursday prior to the first day of classes. Returning students who register after this date will be charged a 100$ late registration fee in addition to any other required fees.
 

International Students  

  1.  Application Fee: $84.14 CAD (non-refundable)
  2.  Tuition Fees: $2,222 CAD (per six week session/level)
  3.  Career Advising and Transition Services fee: $15 CAD (per semester)
  4.  Compulsory International Health Insurance fee: $110 CAD (per semester)

• Late Registration Fee: Returning students must register no later than the Thursday prior to the first day of classes. Returning students who register after this date will be charged a $100 late registration fee in addition to any other required fees.
 
 

Tuition Fees for Certificate of Proficiency in French – Language and Culture

  3.   Career Advising and Transition Services Fee: $15 CAD (per semester)

International Students

  1.     Application Fee: $84.14 CAD (non-refundable)
  2.     Tuition Fees: $2,150 CAD (per six week session/level)
  3.     Career Advising and Transition Services Fee: $15 CAD (per semester)
  4.     Compulsory International Health Insurance fee: $110 CAD (per semester)

Payment Methods

Students can pay their fees by credit card, money order or in person at Client Services by debit card or certified cheque. Certified cheques and money orders must be payable to McGill University, School of Continuing Studies.

All students paying tuition fees online must notify Client Services by email or phone that their payment has been made in order to confirm enrollment. All fees are subject to change without prior notice.

If you cannot pay online, you can complete and send us the credit card authorization form below which will authorize us to process your payment by credit card.
