Strictly Blogging
Once viewed as a vanity platform for exhibitionists and hacks, blogging has become serious business: corporate communications professionals, small business marketeers, and fundraisers for non‑profit organizations, as well as citizen media advocates, aspiring novelists, and hobbyists have all discovered the power of the blog.
This eight-week course provides an opportunity for writers to explore blogging in a workshop setting. It is intended for writers who are already blogging or are seriously committed to starting a blog. The course will provide a structure in which participants develop a disciplined approach to blogging and to improving their communications, marketing, and branding skills through guided critique, peer feedback, and participation in a simulated social media-based community.
This course is co-presented by the Personal and Cultural Enrichment program (PACE).
