How to Register

Select your Study Groups and Lectures

Consult the current Calendar to choose your study groups and lectures. It provides a complete schedule together with descriptions of each study group and lecture.

How to Register

You may register by mail or in person using the MCLL Registration form, which are available in the MCLL office and online. Registration forms are processed in the order received. They may be submitted at any time and will be numbered as they are received. However, the actual processing of the printed forms does not begin until the date that online registration opens.

You may register for up to two study groups once registration opens. Popular study groups fill quickly. If you are using the printed registration form, please list your first four (4) choices to avoid disappointment. You have the option of being put on a waiting list if the study group you want to enroll in is full. You may register for additional study groups when the term starts, providing space is available.

Returning members can choose to register online. If you register online you will be able to see which study groups are available. The document How to Register Online provides instructions.

First-time members will be issued a McGill student ID number and email address when they register. In subsequent semesters they will then have the option to register online.

Payment Procedure

To register by mail or in person, pay for your membership ($105) and any lectures ($8 each) with a single cheque payable to McGill University. One cheque for two members is acceptable. Cash is NOT accepted.

When you register online you have the option to use Internet banking to pay your fees.

Further details on registration, fees and payment procedures are available in the current Calendar.
