MCLL members come from many different backgrounds and experiences. Check out WHO WE ARE!
Full members are those who register for at least one study group during any 12-month period. The MCLL full membership fee is $100 per term. This entitles you to attend either one or two 10-week study groups. Additional study groups can be added during the first week of term where space is available. Members may attend lectures, social activities and special programs held in the 12 months following their most recent registration. There is an extra charge of $7 for each lecture.
Associate membership is available for $20 per term. Associate members may attend social events as well as Friday and Saturday lectures.
See the current Program for further information on membership fees.
MCLL occupies a suite of well-equipped seminar rooms, a common room for relaxing and chatting with other members, an office and a small kitchen. Full membership provides access to the McGill Library, with the same borrowing privileges and Internet services as all McGill students.
- Moderators and lecturers
Members are encouraged to share their interests, knowledge and curiosity with others by moderating a study group or giving a lecture. The Curriculum Committee provides support and training.
- Committee membership
MCLL is self-administered by an elected Council working in liaison with the McGill School of Continuing Studies. Members are encouraged to contribute their talents to the various committees.
Members can provide support by volunteering in the office or helping with other administrative tasks.
