Placement Test of Written French (PTWF)
All students wishing to register for an online course must write the online McGill Placement Test of Written French (PTWF).
The test results permit an accurate evaluation of a student's proficiency in written French and determine the student's level within our program structure. Students have 90 minutes to complete the test, which consists of three (3) parts:
Part 1 - The sentence (answering questions)
Part 2 - The paragraph (writing an email)
Part 3 - The text (writing a letter)
Upcoming Testing Period for Course Registration

There is a $25 CAD non-refundable test fee, payable at the time of registration for the PTWF.
Registration for the Placement Test of Written French is mandatory.
