Choosing Your Business Structure

Sole Proprietorship, partnership, corporation: Find out which one will best suit your business

“Of all the choices you make when starting a business, one of the most important is the type of legal structure you choose for your company. Not only will this decision have an impact on how much you pay in taxes, it will affect the amount of paperwork your business is required to do, the personal liability you face and your ability to raise money.” Entrepreneur.com

Each business entity—whether it be a sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, or cooperative—carries its own set of advantages and disadvantages.  The question is: which one is right for you?

Presented in layman’s terms by an expert in the field, this webinar will:

  • Assist you in making the right choice for you and your business
  • Clarify the key differences between each business entity
  • Guide you through the necessary steps to formally constitute your business
  • Explain the laws applicable to companies in Quebec and Canada

Choosing the legal structure for your new business is one of those critical business decisions you just can’t afford to overlook—especially if you want to get off to a good start!
