Heat Treatment of Aerospace Materials (Al, Ti, Superalloys)
This course is based on SAE standard and BS EN, aerospace series standard. It is mainly focused on heat treatment of aerospace materials such as aluminum alloys, titanium alloys and superalloys.

Objectives
- To understand various types of aluminum alloys, titanium alloys and superalloys in aerospace industry
- To learn variety of processes employing heating and quenching in heat treatments of Al, Ti alloys and superalloys
- To identify important parameters in heat treatment of aerospace materials
- To be familiar with effect of heat treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of materials
- Providing an opportunity to discuss problems with TWI experts
Topics Covered
Principles of heat treatment process, facilities and general equipment, important parameters, quality control and inspection, common defects, safety precautions and standards.
Who Should Attend
Scientists, engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel currently working in aerospace industry.

7 days prior to the start date: Refund minus $100 Cancellation fee
Within 7 days of the start date: No Refund, however suitable participation substitution will be permitted
If no notice is given prior to the start of the event(s) and you fail to attend, you will be liable for the full course fee.
