myMcGill is the university portal. It provides a single sign‐on access to most McGill online resources, including your employee menu, email, myCourses and other resources. To access this portal, go to the university web site at www.mcgill.ca and click on myMcGill. Use your McGill username (firstname [dot] lastname [at] mcgill [dot] ca or firstname [dot] lastname [at] mail [dot] mcgill [dot] ca) to sign in. More info.
McGill email is the official means of communication between the university administration, the academic areas and yourself. You should also use this service for corresponding with your students. You can access your email on the web from the email tab of myMcGill. More info.

Minerva allows instructors to access personal and course related information such as payroll status, a class list, etc. Minerva is also the system where you post your final grades at the end of a term. To access Minerva, login to MyMcGill and click on the Minerva tab. More info.
myCourses is the McGill course management system. You should use myCourses to make your syllabus and course material available online, to post students grades, to create online quizzes or moderate discussion boards, etc. More info.
