Biography

Jason Moschella teaches corporate finance and financial accounting courses at the School of Continuing Studies, as well as contributing to the CFA Exam Preparation Program. He is passionate about teaching and learning inside and outside of the classroom, and he is currently pursuing his PhD in accounting at McGill's Desautels Faculty of Management.

Jason is an investment professional with 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently he served as a project manager and compliance supervisor at 3Macs, Canada's oldest brokerage firm. Prior to that he worked as a research analyst for BCA Research, the Canadian National Railway (CN) Pension Fund, and FactSet Research Systems. Jason specializes in leveraging technology and software to free users from repetitive, labour-intensive tasks, and has intimate in-depth knowledge of top-down and quantitative investment research, portfolio management, and compliance.

Jason holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Finance from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designations.
