Christian Champenois is a senior project manager with a PMP certification (2001) currently working in the banking industry and a lecturer in project management at McGill University. He has over twelve years of experience in project and team management in matrix environment including six years at IBM Global Services in strategic outsourcing.
Passionate and knowledgeable about exploring and experimenting with the latest developed technologies and standards, Christian has managed multiple national and international projects in the government, aeronautics, pharmaceutical and financial sector.
He holds a bachelor of business administration degree from HEC Montreal and a Master's certificate in project management from George Washington University. "I am motivated by passionate people, constant challenge, and the opportunity to share knowledge, learn and have an impact. I believe that life's too short to spend time working on things that don't matter to you."
Some of his project management specialties are:
- Manage transformation projects encompassing new tools or technology, process re-engineering and complex organizational change management.
- Manage Enterprise Program or Portfolio management, develop, define and manage a Project Management Office (PMO), provide advanced project management training and coaching.
