Biography
David Abramson has over 30 years of experience applying global macroeconomics to the real world. For three years he worked in the International Department of the Bank of Canada forecasting economic and financial variables. After that he was Managing Editor in a variety of roles at BCA Research, the world’s leading independent provider of global macroeconomic investment research. These roles included founder of the Commodity and Energy Strategy service, head of China Strategy, founder of European Investment Strategy, and head of Foreign Currency research.

David has lectured in international finance, economics and business for MBA programs for over 20 years. He earned an MA in Economic from Carleton University, and holds an MBA (International Finance) and MA (International Relations) from the University of Chicago, where he achieved the Beta Gamma Sigma academic distinction. He has long been both a mentor and a member of the Client Committee for the Kenneth Woods Portfolio Management program, in which undergraduate finance students manage real money.
