Antonin Dvorak: Old World and New World Composer

Dvorak’s composition style is the fullest recreation of a national idiom with that of the symphonic tradition. He spent three years in the United States, including a summer in my home state of Iowa, but was happiest in his native Bohemia. However, his best-known works were written in the United States.
