Are you looking to perfect your Spanish for your studies or to broaden your career opportunities? Or are you interested in learning Spanish for personal enrichment?
Spanish is the third most common language of international communication today and is increasingly used in the global marketplace. Learning a new language is an adventure that opens up new worlds to the student. Through Spanish courses and programs at the School of Continuing Studies, students can discover a new culture and apply their new language skills in their academic or professional careers.
Why Study Spanish at the School of Continuing Studies?
McGill is known for its excellence and language programs at the School of Continuing Studies follow this tradition. The School offers Spanish courses for the beginner through to advanced proficiency courses, including a Certificate of Proficiency in Spanish program, a Graduate Certificate in Professional Communication, and Translation programs. Courses are offered on a part-time basis to fit busy schedules, and are taught by professional, engaging and committed instructors.
Our courses are well-structured and place equal importance on the four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Each semester, we also offer a post-certificate course in a different area of interest (e.g. Business, Cinema, Culture or Translation).
