IMPORTANT NOTE
You can register for this Placement Test only if you are currently residing in the country and if you have not yet applied for the Intensive English Program.If you live outside of Canada, please fill in the Application for Admission Form and complete the Application process. A letter of admission will be forwarded to you with information of your Placement Test date.
As a new student, you must write the McGill Placement Test so that you can be placed in the level that is best for you.
Tests are normally a week before the start of the session. When you register, you will be given a test date. If for any reason, you cannot attend on the scheduled date, please notify the office immediately.
In the first few days of class, the teachers will confirm the placement or, in certain exceptional cases when it is in the best academic interests of a student, recommend a transfer.
