Language of instruction

Private lessons in most instruments and ensemble coaching are offered in both English and French. Theory and Ear Training courses are taught in English, with bilingual support from teachers.

Evaluation reports

Evaluation reports are sent out to all students under 18 years of age enrolled in Instrumental lessons and Theory and Ear Training instruction to help parents assess the progress of their child. For Instrumental lessons, these are written at the end of the Fall Term and at the end of Spring Term for students not taking an examination. Evaluation reports for full-year Theory and Ear Training courses are written at the end of January and include a mid-term mark.
