David was selected to give a presentation at the 2013 Inaugural meeting of the Cytokine and Interferon Society (ICIS): Cytokines: From Molecular Mechanisms to Human Disease. The meeting was held in San Francisco the week of September 29, 2013.
David also received the Milsten Young Investigator Award 2013
Alex was selected to serve as Conference Assistant at the Keystone Symposium - Metabolic Control of Inflammation and Immunity that was held at Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge in Colorado last January (2013).
Alex was also selected to give an oral presentation at the American Association of Immunology (AAI) in a block symposium AND for a poster presentation. The meeting was held in Hawaii, the week of May 3-7, 2013. The title of his abstact was: Caspase-12 inhibits obesity and insulin resistance.
Maryse was selected to deliver an oral presentation at the International Congress of Mucosal Immunology (ICMI) in July which is a great privilege for a graduate student at her stage of career. She is schedule to present on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 11h30 AM. The title of her abstact is: The role of the cellular inhibitors of apoptosis in colitis and colitis-associated colorectal cancer.
She also ranked 1st in the FRSQ studentship competition panel that evaluated her application.
