We get it. Whether you’re new here, or you’ve been here for years, McGill can be a tough place to navigate. Getting involved, learning outside of the classroom, or developing any specific skill can come with its fair share of challenges, and we understand that. Campus Life & Engagement is here to help you make the most of your time at McGill by acting as your go-to hub for connecting you to relevant and meaningful resources and opportunities.
Our new programs are currently being formed, tried, and tested, but we'll make sure to let you know as soon as they're available.
Emerging Leaders Mini-Conference is a free, annual conference for students featuring great speakers, workshops and panel discussions at McGill's downtown campus. This is a unique event to develop your leadership skills, meet like-minded motivated individuals and obtain the tools you need to more fully take the power of your education into your own hands.
Graduate and Postdoc students interested in improving their facilitation, leadership and communication skills may be interested in our "Leading Effective Discussions" facilitation skills workshops.
We also have several volunteer and employment opportunities for returning students.
In the meantime, head on over to the Engage McGill site to see the array of on- and off-campus opportunities available for students. Then log into McGill's myInvolvement portal for a showcase of workshops, events and volunteer opportunities at McGill.
