Registration Information

Note: Online regostration and fee-payment for the 2014 AAH meeting in Montreal is now closed. If you wish to attend the conference, you may still register on-site. Payment on-site must be made by check, made out to the "Department of History and Classical Studies, McGill University" with "AAH conference, fund 105250" clearly indicated on the memo line or elsewhere on the check. On-site registration fees are $160 (in US or Canadian dollars) for regular members, $120 for student members. The organizers need to have a final count three days in advance for the banquet on Saturday, May 10. If you plan to register on-site, please notify the organizers by aah2014 [dot] history [at] mcgill [dot] ca (email) by Wednesday, May 7 in order to guarantee that you receive a banquet and drink tickets.

Registration is obligatory for all participants and attendees of the meeting. To register for the conference, complete the online registration form and pay the appropriate registration fee. Payment can be made online by credit card utilyzing Paypal, which is a convenient and secure payment system. You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay your registration fees. A link to the registration form can be found in the sidebar on the left of this page.

Upon completion of the online registration form, you will be directed away from this website to the payment page, which is hosted by the Association of Ancient Historian. If for any reason you need to return to the payment page, you can go there directly by clicking here.

The registration fee covers free access to the keynote lecture and opening reception on May 8 (sponsored jointly by the Classical Association of Canada), all plenary panels on May 9, 10, and 11, coffee breaks and snacks between panels, the business meeting of the association on May 10, and the banquet and closing address on May 10. Registered particpants of the AAH conference will also have free access to the academic panels of the CAC conference on the overlapping day of the two conferences, May 9. 

To attend other events and activities of the CAC on May 6, 7 and 8, you must also register for the CAC conference. Regular members of both associations who register for both conferences will receive a $30 discount; student members who register for both conferences will receive a $10 discount. To receive the discount, please register for the CAC conference first then indicate on the AAH registration form that you are a joint registrant. The discount will be applied to your AAH registration fee. Please note, joint registration will not be considered complete until the organizers confirm payment for both conferences.

Student Members, Early Registration ((through Sunday, April 6, 2014): $95
Regular  Members, Late Registration (from Monday, April 7, 2014): $160
Student Members, Late Registration (from Monday, April 7, 2014): $120
Extra banquet ticket (for non-registrant): $95
Joint AAH-CAC registration discount, regular member: -$30
Joint AAH-CAC registration discount, student member: -$10

To cancel your registration, please contact the organizer by email or in writing before April 7, 2014 and your registration fees will be reimbursed less a $25 administration charge. Registration cannot be cancelled after April 7, 2014.
