The Strategic Training Program in Palliative Care Research is a partnership between the CIHR Institute of Cancer Research and the National Cancer Institute of Canada, McGill University, University of Laval and University of Ottawa.
The program
The goal of palliative care is to improve the quality of life of people
with cancer and their families.
Candidates seeking admission to the Strategic Training Program in
Palliative Care Research will need to submit an application separate
from the departmental application. |
The investigators
The investigators from the Strategic Training Program in Palliative
Care Research act as mentors that are well recognized for their
interdisciplinary bonds, their scientific and training strengths, as
well as their capacity to foster knowledge transfer and uptake. |
The trainees
Trainees interact directly with PC investigators across Canada by
participating in an interdisciplinary team or network in addition to
the experience provided directly by the Strategic Training
Initiative. |
