Our Microscopy platform offers access to high-end light microscopy tools for fixed and live cell imaging, as well as image analysis solutions.
This platform is managed by Dr. Elke Küster-Schöck, with the help of Pratik Kadekar.

Manuals for Microscopy Users
General Procedures
1- User Registration
- Prior to using any CIAN equipment, users must register online and provide information such as their name, lab affiliation and billing information.
2- User Training
- To get training on microscopes and acquisition and analysis softwares, click here or cian [at] mcgill [dot] ca (contact us).
- Access to the instruments of the Microscopy facility (including microscopes and workstations) is restricted to authorized users who have been trained by core facility staff.
- Everyone must go through training before a given system can be used.
- Users are trained, not groups.
- Users cannot rely on another user to operate CIAN infrastructure.
