
Joint ASP and CHPI meeting this summer in Quebec City
The annual centre's symposium will be held jointly with the American Society for Parasitologists in beautiful Quebec City on June 28 and 29, 2013. The ASP conference is a four-day event scheduled from June 26th to 29th, and the CHPI symposium is scheduled on the last two days of the congress. Centre's graduate students and postdocs have until February 22, 2013 to submit an abstract. For more information, click here.
FRQNT Strategic Cluster
The Centre for Host-Parasite Interactions was created to bring groups of scientists together to form new research and training synergies in areas of importance for Quebec. Researchers of the Centre come from McGill University, Université Laval, Université de Montréal-St Hyacinthe, Institut Armand Frappier and the Université du Québec à Montréal. The Centre provides high-quality training in parasitology for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and will promote Quebec research and expertise nationally and internationally. The Centre's administration is located at the Institute of Parasitology, on the Macdonald Campus of McGill University, and is funded by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Nature et technologies (FRQNT).
