Fume Hood

  • Step 1: When fumehood is not in use, the sash should be down.

  • Step 2: Ensure you have read the fumehood operating instructions.

  • Step 3: As sash is opened, energy usage should increase.

  • Step 4: If sash is fully opened, energy usage should increase even further.

  • Step 5: If emergency occurs, alarm will sound.  Do not mute the alarm.

  • Step 6: Pull the sash completely down.
