Caroline Brown winner of the 2015-2016 Award for Excellence in Service to Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
We are very pleased to announce that our Graduate Programs Administrator Caroline Brown has been selected for the Award for Excellence in Service to Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for 2015-2016. This award, given out by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, recognizes Caroline's dedication to graduate students in our department, the efficiency that she has brought to our operations and her visible devotion towards her work. Congratulations Caroline!
We're proud to announce that two graduate students in our department, Stephanie Ballard and Svetlana Puzhko, were awarded FRQS scholarships! Stephanie Ballard is completing an MSc in Family Medicine and is being co-supervised by Dr. Machelle Wilchesky and Dr. Mark Yaffe. Her project is "The validation of a tool for the detection of elder abuse in long-term care: A feasibility study." Svetlana Puzhko is currently in the MSc program in Family Medicine, supervised by Dr.
Dr. Gillian Bartlett-Esquilant receives the Carrie M. Derick Award for Graduate Supervision and Teaching
Dr. Gillian Bartlett-Esquilant has been selected as this year’s recipient of the Carrie M. Derick Award for Excellence Graduate Teaching and Supervision. The Award and a citation will be presented at Spring Convocation. The recipient receives a plaque, and his/her name is inscribed on a permanent plaque in the Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Office.
